Summer is nearly over, but that doesn't mean we don't deserve a relaxing break to unwind from our daily stress. We can face stress and worries on a daily basis, so a holiday is the perfect opportunity to relax, unwind and de-stress.

Our well-being and mental health can really benefit from time away from our usual routines, where we can reconnect with ourselves and recharge our batteries. Many people may be booking late summer getaways or even a winter holiday to beat the winter blues however, we can often take our stress and anxieties on the plane with us, resulting in a holiday that is far from relaxing.

To help say goodbye to those workplace worries, the team at Hayes & Jarvis have created "The Four Pillars of Holiday Relaxation", which looks at four aspects of our well-being; mental, communication, physical and nutritional. The expert guide includes tips and advice from a range of experts including life coaches, personal trainers, nutritionists and hypnotherapists, on how to de-stress, unwind and make the most of your relaxing holiday.

Hannah Ellery, a counsellor and CBT therapist from Peace Hope Counselling, provides an expert tip on how to relax and unwind while on holiday. She suggests creating a mood chart and meditating to rid your holiday of worries and anxieties. Other tips from experts suggest keeping active, sticking to your food routine and letting go of any holiday expectations.

The handy guide is free to download and is a great resource for everyday life, and not just for when you're planning a trip away.
