    About Julie DeLuca Counselling

My practice locations are central Manchester, M1 5AN and Bury, BL9 0ST.

Talking therapy is for anyone, whether you feel you're going through a bad time or experiencing emotional problems that may be difficult to resolve on your own.

Working as a counsellor, supervisor, coach and psychotherapist I see clients who are experiencing anxiety, low mood, depression, grieving after a bereavement or loss of something massively significant, experiencing domestic abuse, working through the menopause, relationship issues, long term illness, redundancy, childhood trauma, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

I incorporate an existential approach into my practice using a pluralistic perspective which recognises the diversity of clients and how their individual needs will differ.

As a coach I work independently and corporately with clients who want to realise their goals personally or in the workplace, whether it's for promotion, managing self esteem or working towards professional goals. We can work together in helping you believe your value, reach your potential and become more motivated and directional in your approach.

Because many of us, at some point in our life, experience feelings that conflict with and affect our behaviour we may disengage and perhaps become distressed and may also become unsure about who we are and where we’re going. It’s not always easy to talk about feelings and emotions but I will offer you a safe and confidential place where you can talk freely and without fear of judgement. Therapy is an opportunity to talk about your concerns and in a way which you may not be able to do with your friends or family. Working together it may be that you're able to identify and make the changes in your life and improve your wellbeing.

My practices are located in central Manchester, close to The Town Hall and Barbirolli Square (M1 5AN) and on Knowsley Street in Bury (BL0 9ST).

In accordance with the BACP's guidelines for on-going professional development, I have regular supervision, both individually and also in a group.

My fees per individual session (50 minutes) £65.

Please telephone for further details and for an informal chat; if you feel you'd prefer to text or email, please do and I'll reply as soon as I am able too.

I look forward to welcoming you as a client and to working with you in the long or short term.

    With kindest regards
    Julie
