    About Tom Sobel Counselling

I am an American-trained counselling psychologist with over 15 years of experience in psychology and consultancy work. I specialise in short and long-term counselling and psychotherapy. I also offer life coaching and work place consultancy services. My therapy room is located in Harley Street, London, one of the most well known, sought after areas for medical and holistic care in the World. In addition, I have office space on Cannon Street in London. Both sites offer convenient access via public transportation.

Through the use of video communication tools now available, I am able to help you no matter where in the World you are. Online therapy offers an effective, discrete, and cost-effect way to particiate in therapy. Sessions can be conducted in the privacy of your office or home. If you travel a lot for work, regular sessions can still take place, as we can speak from your hotel room. On-line therapy is all about how we live today. It allows clients to interact with me from the comfort and privacy of their home or without the stress of having to come to an office setting.

Who should you use online therapy?

Busy individuals, those who travel, and those affected by conditions (such as panic disorder or agoraphobia) that limit their ability to leave the home. If you are in immediate crisis and a threat to yourself or someone else, you should contact a crisis hotline or speak with a professional in a A&E or ER Hospital.

I have worked in multi-cultural environments, helping support international mental health initiatives in Spain, Denmark, Lithuania and India. In addition, I offer individualised training and consulting services in the areas of learning disabilities, life coaching, and programme development.

I believe that every person is different, thus I use an eclectic approach to counselling and psychotherapy. My approach includes influences from a psychodynamic, person-centered, as well as a cognitive behavioural model. I believe that I am a guide that is there to help you discuss, explore, understand, and problem solve. We will work as a team on a journey towards self-awareness, mindfulness, exploration, and resolution of your difficulties.
