    About The Arterie

Almost everyone is looking to make sense of their experience and live a more meaningful, fulfilling life. Many people come to me to seek support for depression, anxiety, stress, low self-esteem and challenging life transitions.

Working with a therapist is different than talking with friends, or family. It’s a unique relationship that is free from expectations and judgement. This fosters a unique atmosphere where you can safely explore the roadblocks in your life and face difficult realities. I am here to listen, support, empower and understand what it might be like to walk in your shoes. From there, we can work together to help you organize and understand your experiences and to put your new understanding into a structure you can use to move forward in your life. Along the way, I can help you strengthen skills such as compassion, gentleness, openness and curiosity that can make a powerful impact on your ability to lead a more fulfilling life. These skills will stay with you long after our time together is over.

Make no mistake, therapy is work, but it is good work and it has the power to change your life. It can be hard at times, that is for sure! On the other hand, therapy can also be full of humour, joy, and moments of triumph, insights and actions that can move you forward by leaps and bounds.

Entering therapy is a creative act. It’s a process of experimentation, growth and transformation. As Shakespeare once wrote, “The readiness is all”.

I work online with adults 20-50 years of age.

I look forward to meeting you on your journey.
