    About Olive Tree Clinic

I practice functional medicine, looking for the root cause of health conditions using a detailed health questionnaire and biochemical testing. Imbalances in nutrients and gut flora balance can contribute to many illnesses, and identification of these is a key first stage.

Nutritional therapy uses a combination of targetted supplements and diet and lifestyle changes to address health challenges. This approach can be applied to a wide range of problems.

I have special training in nutritional approaches to mental health. I am one of the few nutritional therapists to have been trained by Dr Walsh in his approach to mental health-- see his book "Nutrient Power". I have also had DAN! training with the Autism Research Institute.

Every person is unique. You therefore need a unique programme to reflect where you have come from and where you want to go with your health. Functional nutritional medicine offers an individually tailored programme.
